Beach, Surfing and Potluck Party at La Jolla Shores

The last beach party was so much fun! Let's have another big party at La Jolla Shores on Saturday May 17 at 12 pm. Everyone is welcome! Come to surf or just hang out and meet the group. Bring food and drinks to share with everyone!

Location:

La Jolla Shores
(Grassy area north of the parking lot)
8200 Camino Del Oro, La Jolla, CA 92037

Directions:

Park in the La Jolla Shores Parking Lot (or a few blocks away).
Walk to the grassy area NORTH of the parking lot.
Look for a multi-color umbrella and a MEETUP sign.

Alex will send his phone number to all who RSVP yes, a couple days before the event.

Parking:

Will be tough. Be prepared to park a few blocks away.

Rentals:

Don't have a surfboard? I have worked a discount out with OEX for half day rentals. They will be letting us rent a surfboard with a wetsuit for $20 for 4 hours. They only have 20 surfboards available for rental. Just let them know you are with "Daniel's meetup group" when renting to get the discount.

Note: Alcohol and glass containers are not allowed at the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, grass areas and walkways until after 6 pm.

This will be a joint event with the Surfing meetup group.

Bring:

Bring your surfboard and your fun party self!
It's a potluck! Bring food, drinks, chairs for everyone to share.
If anyone has a table or a gas grill that would be great. :)
