Hi all, since I've received so many emails from members wanting to the kayaking this weekend, I'm setting up a Saturday Mission Bay kayaks Fireworks event as well. Saturday will be limited to 20 members and Sunday is 32 members.

Come out Saturday, May 17th for a spectacular fireworks show at Mission Bay. Seaworld has fireworks every weekend until May 18 at 8:50 pm. This is will be a guided kayaking tour hosted by OEX. Price is $20 per person and ONLY tandems kayaks will be available.

If you own your own kayak the cost is $10 per boat, since this is a guided tour. Life jackets, paddles and boat lights are all included in the guided tour for the rentals. This event is limited to only 20 members. Let's meet at OEX in Mission Bay at 6:30 pm and begin the tour at 7:00 pm sharp, we'll tour the bay for 1.5 hours then watch the fireworks and head back. Feel free to show up earlier to find parking. OEX phone number is 619-866-6129 if you need help locating the group. This event is perfect for beginners of all ages including children. Please do not RSVP if you own your own kayak. I need an approximate head count of the renters.
