What is your biggest geek passion?
I have studied 17 real human languages, but I am seriously considering studying Klingon and Na'vi. That would stamp me with the geek seal for sure.
If you're a game geek, what is your favourite video game console/platform?
I gave up video games 20 years ago because I was playing hours every day and I wanted to get some of my time back to do other things. I used to play Descent and a version of Robotron that I wrote myself in assembly for my home computer. The rule doesn't count if I'm at somebody elses place, and I have played some head-to-head martial arts games.
If you like sci-fi/fantasy, name some of your favourite movies/shows.
2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Trek, Planet of the Apes. Avatar is my new obsession. I didn't watch it when it first came out because there was too much hype, but I only downloaded it a couple of weeks ago, and I've already watched it 20 times. Buffy th Vampire Slayer.
Who is your favourite geek?
Hard to pick one. Mayim Bialik, Terry Gilliam, Tom Lehrer, Stephen Hawking, and Leonardo Da Vinci would be on the list
Describe the types of meetups you want to and will go to.
Something that would combine matial arts, languages, and singing. How about going to a karaoke bar and doing jump spinning kicks on stage whil singing "kung fu fighting" in Mandarin?

Hi, I signed up for the meeting on Sunday. But I changed my mind. there are no German speaking and also too young for me people. enjoyed the meeting at the Austrian Club very much. The people were a lot younger than me. But not too you.
