"Healthy" food is all the rage these days. But seriously, since when does that mean it can't be just as tantalizing? Our gracious host, Jeremy, will be featuring tarragon, garlic and brandy braised chicken, served on bread with smoked swiss. Or, you might be delighted with his fire-roasted tomato deep dish pizza. (You'll have to come to find out which!) Either way, this dinner will prove once and for all that tasty and healthy are not mutually exclusive. Not to mention it's a great opportunity to get new ideas and inspiration for what to make at home. Please bring a tasty but healthy dish to pass. (Check out our food ideas page.) We also welcome your recipes to share with the group.

For the directionally-challenged:

If you use google maps, plug in Jeremy's address and turn on the satellite view. You will see that there are two buildings, each of which is shaped like a horseshoe. He's in the second building. The main entrance is in the center of the horseshoe.

About Your Host: Jeremy

Jeremy grew up in North Dakota, about 20 miles south of Canada, and 100 miles from geographical center of North America (and lowest population of surfers : ). It was a place where you could see the curvature of the Earth from your driveway and the Milky Way at night. He came to Minneapolis for the U of M, loved the city, and decided to stay. The Twin Cities are one of the 4 places Jeremy would consider living (try to guess the other 3 and you might win something at his dinner). Professionally, Jeremy is an engineer. He started a small company, Green Spring Design, that makes interactive websites for ad agencies and small businesses. He likes traveling, and he started playing the electric guitar this year.

    •  I had a great time, I hope to see you guys again soon.
    •  Food and people are awesome. Jeremy was generous to chip in for the rental of the club house. He donated ice cream to me too. Yum yum my tum tum! :-) Jeremy surprised everyone when he brought ample supply of trash bags at the end of the dinner. This is something that we need to remember to bring for the Saturday Nigt Dinners in the future. That way we leave a good impression to the host. When we meet at Mohit's place, I will try to remember bringing in all the necessities: pizza cutter, ice cream scoop, trash bags, etc ... and off course, name tags. I offered to buy ice cubes and Jeremy offered his personal ice cubes. But everybody was satisfied with the fridge. All food was low in fat and calory. Wine selection was fabulous. Thanx 2 Mike Wheeler and Raj who helped me clean up the counters. We warmly communicated in a myriad of foreign languages. Enchanting conversations encompass technology, lifestyle as well as professional achievement. What an enlightening evening.
