Mellissa's favorite food is cheese, so this evening is a celebration of cheese. Make a dish that has some sort of cheese, bonus points to someone who can think of a creative dessert with cheese. Cheesecake is not creative enough to win bonus points ;) Mike and Mellissa will provide a main pasta dish (with cheese of course), water, and soda. Please bring a dish to share and any alcoholic beverages you would like to drink.

Mike and Mellissa have a love of travel, wine, and food. We joined meetup to meet new people, expand our circle of friends and share our love of food. Mike grew up in Bloomington, MN, went to college at the University of Wisconsin and has worked for a consulting company for the past 12 years. Many of those years were spent living abroad. Mellissa grew up in Wisconsin and went to the University of Minnesota and has spent the past 5 years working in marketing at Ecolab and is currently finishing her MBA.

Take Hwy 77 into Apple Valley and turn left on Country Road 42, follow to Galaxie and turn right, go about a half mile and turn left on 157th st. Take 157th to France Way and turn right. We live in a neighborhood of row homes, please park on the east side of France Way. Pay attention to parking signs as you can only park on one side of the street.

We look forward to seeing you and hope to meet some new faces as well!

Announcing next meetup of the year, a week after Suberbowl XLIII, there is no other better way than to celebrate it at the highest elevation point in Twin Cities.... Thats right friends, its Columbia Heights and it is Matthew Martin's 'Top of the Twin Cities Party'. Since it is just a week after SuperBowl XLIII, I'm sure The environment will be super electric and in such electrifying environment good things are bound to happen. Bring in any food you want to share, snacks, alcohol, Pop/Soda etc, even bottled water is welcomed and last but not the least, don't forget to bring yourself too.
See you there...
About the Host:
Matthew is local to the Twin Cities area. In fact outside college when he was in Washington State for 4 years he's been in the area all his life. He lives with two roommates and a dog in a 2 story house in the heart of Columbia Heights. He can see the Minneapolis skyline from his backyard and it's wonderful. He currently works in a mail room at a large corporation. He also does their mail delivery and shipping and receiving. In his free time he enjoys watching TV, going to movies and the best of all other's Saturday Night Dinners (in the winter). In the summer, he enjoys riding his bicycle around town, playing competitive kickball and relaxing with friends. Something that few know about him is that he bowls in a league and have done so since he was age 7. He enjoys bowling because it's the sport he's best at.

Are you dreaming about tropical rain forests, sunny beaches, blue skies, and the sound of surf crashing in the distance? Let's get into the rhythm of the islands and out of the cold bringing the tastes of the Caribbean to our next dinner party! Bring a dish to pass, a chair if you have an extra (and no biggie if you don't), and be ready to enjoy some great company!

Chad, has lived in Eden Prairie, MN for the last six years. Kristin relocated to the cities from Rochester, MN and has been here for close to four years. Chad and Kristin are both self employed. Kristin owns Bolinske Consulting & Recruiting which provides professional human resource services to job seekers and small/med organizations in the Twin Cities. She is working towards a Masters of Human Resource Development; which will be awarded this December. Chad owns his own law firm, Bolinske & Bolinske, which is located in St. Louis Park. Chad and Kristin have a small cockapoo puppy named Bailey; who is non-shedding. She is very friendly, but does like to bark at people who
come to our door.

When you are looking up the directions keep in mind the following:
Eden Prairie likes to change road names, and the road markers are not always updated. So...Highway 312 is now the new 212. The old highway 212 is now Flying Cloud Drive.

And lastly, to better plan for our events and in consideration for our hosts, our new attendance policy will be in effect. All of the details of this policy are listed on our "about us" page towards the very bottom. Please review when you have a minute*

We look forward to seeing all that can attend! It is always a wonderful time!

This weekend let's share the things we are grateful for with friends and new people in our life. For this very special holiday dinner, please bring a child's gift for the Make a Wish Foundation. Then, play some fierce battles of guitar hero 'til the night is done! All guests must bring a dinner item to share. Also: Doggie alert! Cyrea has some really cute ones, but if you're allergic, this is not the dinner for you.

If you are not able to make it to the dinner or the dinner is full and you would still like to donate, we will make arrangements for you to drop off your gift with an organizer.

For those of you who made it to Maggie & Chris' popular 'Spooky Dinner Party' last Halloween, you know it's going to be a blast to do it again. But this time, the spooky couple is upping their game: They want costumes, people! Guests who arrive without one may have a horrible, potentially embarrassing costume assigned to them. Maggie & Chris have promised a yummy Halloween-y dish and hot, spiked cider. Please bring a side, dessert, or beverage to pass. If the weather is good, we may even do a fire pit in the back, so hot dogs and s'mores are also welcome.

About the Hosts
Maggie and Chris are a married couple, originally from Kansas and Missouri. He's an energy analyst and licensed architect. She's a freelance science and health journalist. Together, they fight crime. OK, not really.

5037 Xerxes is also home to Joel Fitch, who grew up with Chris in Missouri and now works in commodities.
