Introduction
This is my favorite Meetup group, and the only one I attend with any regularity. It's a fantastic group of people and I've made some great friends, not to mention had a LOT of fun and good food!
Where are you in your life? College, profesional, married, kids...etc.?
I've lived in Minneapolis now since 1997 - moved here right after I graduated from college and started work. Previously married, but no kids. Dating a wonderful, lovely young woman named Hoa. Trying to survive the recession!
Tell us about your job, hobbies, or interests.
Job = Database Engineer at Carlson (yawn). I love camping, hiking, bicycling and travel. Also a pre-1950's architecture nut. I like to cook and sample wine and beer. Classical music, theatre, photography, 70's & 80's rock, WW2 history, no more room!

Best idea for dinner party theme.
I've always wanted to do a fondue party, but my last one ended (literally) in flames when the alcohol burner on my 60's era pot got a little out of control! A variety of meats & veggies, cheese, and crusty bread, plus maybe a nice bottle of wine.
