Brussels Rustles in the Trees

Aventure Parc Wavre describes itself as an "amusing commando obstacle course..."

I don't think I'd've described it like that, but it does grab the attention.

Rope ladders, rope bridges, swaying logs - this is your chance to be Tarzan, Jane, Joan Wilder or Jack Colton, depending on your mood. The playground is set out in a series of challenges of generally increasing difficulty. Each challenge is part of a set, going from wobbly but easy to a long way up and rather hairy.

You can get off whenever you like. More or less.

You're in a harness, and completely safe. The staff explain and demonstrate how to move around in the trees without risk to life or limb.

Ah, go on. It's fun.

And afterwards we'll do something more relaxing, like meet in a pub or something.

We must reserve places with the adventure park. Please RSVP here before the end of the day on 8th June if you want to participate. I will then reserve places for everyone who has said "Yes". I will not reserve for the "maybe"s.

=> update26th June => I've reserved for the 6 people who said "yes" and two others who told me they wanted to come. If you didn't say "yes", I haven't reserved for you, but I think you could still get a space...

Once we know who is coming, we can start to organise transport to and from the venue. This will probably involve car pooling. I suggest that we meet in the carpark outside the Auto Museum at the Cinquantenaire.
