Trowbridge Friends Link is an exciting new project for adults with a learning disability. It is a friendship agency to help people who want to meet other people. We will organise the events our members tell us they want so there's always something different to try. We will tell you about events and activities at the churches as well as through this group, so you'll never miss out. You will need to fill in a membership form to tell us all about you so that we can put you in touch with new friends …

… I decided to start this group as I'm often at a loose end on the weekends I have my 6 year old son as most of my friends are married and busy doing family things and I'd love to meet more single parents! I'd rather not set an age range in stone but was aiming for parents being in the the 30s / 40s ideally with children of junior school age as the events I plan to set up will cater mainly for this age group. Just to clarify also, my definition of single parent would be you've split form your ch …

… If you would like to meet new people, join walking and social events and make new friends, then come and join in. You are most welcome to come along for a couple of walks to check us out before joining. Members are asked to contribute £5 to cover the cost of meetup's subscription charge. As always with outdoor events, everyone is responsible for their own safety. Please bring suncream, water, etc, as required.
This group is for people who enjoy getting out in the New Forest particularly for off road bike rides and also the odd walk. We tend to focus more on cycling in the warmer months and add some walks to the mix in the winter. Typical bike rides 10-15 miles approx, walk lengths will be up to 6 miles. You would need to be reasonably fit but there would be plenty of stops! Although there are other more serious walking / cycling groups in the area I feel this group fills a niche for a more casual a …
