I have really enjoyed the meet-n-greet events and decided to create a group dedicated to the concept. Our group will do a monthly meet-n-greet event at the same place. The idea is to enjoy good conversation, meet some cool people, and make new friends. There are no restrictions other than being yourself, playing nice (including any waitstaff), and enjoying good conversation with a tasty beverage.

Friends of Adoption was started to bring adopted children (domestic or international) and their families together with other adopted children and families. We will meet regularly at rotating locations around the metro Detroit area where the kids can play and the grown-ups can chat and hopefully make some lasting friendships.

I decided to start the group because I need crew next summer and want to meet like-minded people. Those who love the water and love sailing as I do.
