I started this group as a fun, FREE, and eco-friendly way to get "new" clothing, furnishings, books and more without spending a dime - and to make some new friends. Friends of Adoption was started to bring adopted children (domestic or international) and their families together with other adopted children and families. We will meet regularly at rotating locations around the metro Detroit area where the kids can play and the grown-ups can chat and hopefully make some lasting friendships.

I decided to start the group because I need crew next summer and want to meet like-minded people. Those who love the water and love sailing as I do.
